| Yorkies and chickens dont mix I've been reading up on breeding in my spare time and I also frequent facebook to play farmville. I went to bed & dreamed that i had coop full of chickens in real life and caught my dog tied with a black chicken. I remember thinking "I dont remember any of my chickens going into heat" (as IF they could). In this dream, I had a panic attack. What kind of creatures did we just create here Next thing I knew, hubby and I gathered the eggs and he started cracking open the eggs to make scrambled eggs. He opened one egg and there was a feathered puppy inside I quickly cleaned it off and was amazed that this newly hatched pup had black feathers from head-to-toe. Two eggs later we had another feathered puppy. Amazingly these "yorkens" were healthy. I'm thinking I need to either quit reading or give up farmville before bed. The two dont mix very well, be hubby and I had a good laugh so I figured I'd share. |

| Oh, cool....the Yorken is a great breed! I personally prefer the Labra-sparrow. They make wonderful pets and are hypo-allergenic, too!!

| Oh how funny! It could have been worse -- lots worse. When your Yorkens are ready, I'd be interested in a breeding pair |

Cares4Dogs, I've heard that farmville is really addicting, I wonder what your subconscious was trying to tell you?

| OMG!...Nancy, what in the world is that? I'd heard that the teacups had problems, but that's ridiculous! I agree, this whole Labra-Sparrow thing is getting out of hand. Just look at what some parrot greeders did in trying to cash in on the fad.
