| The Breeder's Standard is the best software that I know of. I believe it costs around $90.00.

| You're right, "Breeder's Standard" is the best.....The software is the best way to keep track of medical records, show costs, judges evaluation, and so much more. Great for tax purposes too..... Just purchased last years version, as my old computer crashed and all was lost. I recommend you purchase the CD. I think I paid $70.00 for it. But, added on an enhanced Pedigree generator.

| Very Cool! I'm so glad I asked! When does your husband expect it to be finished /ready for Beta testing? How expensive will it be? Thanks

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | This is what I use as well and have had a few years. I've since bought a Mac puter and am "impatiently" waiting for the new version to come out as its is supposed to be Mac friendly. Hopefully soon..until then I loaded a windows on my mac and have to switch over if I want to use it which is a PITA |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I will post as soon as he is ready to start beta testing. He is working off my experience and frustrations with the programs and paperwork I've been doing. We have been asking for suggestions as to what folks think is missing from the programs they have used in the past or presently using. |

| My computer crashed last year and I lost everything too. When I originally bought the program, I downloaded it via online. The one thing that saved me was that I had printed reports.....

I have not used the program for the yorkies; but when I did for our rotties I lost every single bit of info that I did not have in my books. I lost precious pictures and so much more. Darn computers! Now I save on paper, flash drives and a copy on the computer for easy access. Maybe I will have better luck this time

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I think I am going to invest in one of those new things I seen on QVC or HSN, its like a huge harddrive and you backup everything from your computer on it. I've been lucky so far, but you just never know with these computers! |

| You mean an external hard-drive? I have one, it is very useful and has been a lifesaver for me. It has 4 times the storage that my main computer has. |
