Yes, I agree with this, I think the verses are there ONLY to make others think they can be trusted. I too am a person of faith, and I think when a "business" does this I'm sure they are trying to con people. Joanne you've become so savvy since you joined Yorkietalk!

I cannot hold it in and must tell all: I cannot allow this to continue to happen to those poor puppies, nor breeders who are legitimate and genuine. I have the Lord in my life and I don't have to use His Name all over a website for people to see my faith; They know my faith by my actions. I wrote the original post regarding an (unethical) breeder that I had never met who called my residence wanting to trade her dog for my yorkie I had listed for sale. Who does that?
I listened to her for 45 minutes as she chattered non-stop about her (unethical) breeding business, her ability to purchase a pup from a "seller" that obtains their dogs from Mexico and sells them for a "cut-rate". She than marks up the price and sells the dog to a naive buyer who believes they have gotten the deal of a life time on a yorkie, shorkie, morkie, chorkie..or whatever can be bred to a yorkie and sold.
She was very proud to share the fact that she rescued dogs that ended up in shelters. She only charged up to $2,000 to place . Read about this on her website.
I made the calls to Animal Control which has not found her actual residence. She states she lives in Temecula and lists her address in Winchester Ca.
I thought I would write a letter to YT to inform buyers to do their homework and research those Breeders they want to do business with. I did not name the breeder I was talking about. Why? Based on a 45 minute conversation was I absolutely sure that this was the right breeder? Was there a chance that I was talking to someone who wanted to destroy a reputation?
I took a lot of hell for that decision....I could understand YT's concern but I had to be sure, this was the actual owner I spoke to.
I told buyers to do their homework if buying in the Temecula area. It did not take long for YT's to check out the website of SweetYorkieKisses.
She had multiple breeds of dogs for sale, she listed her fee's for rescues and her website was just an overall "RED FLAG" to experience & knowledgable breeders. I am sure she spent hours looking up those bible verses that she prominently displayed.

YT's saw and read many things on her site that caused concern and flag it as a "puppymill" and unethical breeder.
Melissa from SweetYorkieKisses signed on to YT and chastised the YT's for listening to a liar (that would be myself Melissa goes on to admit she called and than proceeded to shoot herself in the foot when she continued to babble on and validate my posting.
Melissa can blame no one but herself for mess. She enjoys quoting bible verses but just does not understand the fact that actions speak louder than words.

"I have received calls from Melissa rambling on my answering machine on a daily basis-calling me a liar-how I ruined her business and reputation-how she is getting threatening calls from around the U.S and Canada, that she is going to have to sell her house and move, lawyers and just plain harassment.

Most of the puppies whom are listed on my site are AKC registered and if they are a Yorkie Hybrid then then the parents are AKC. Believe it or not 50% of the calls I receive from my customers say they would never buy a purebred. Not everyone likes purebred Yorkies. Shorkies have been bred for over 23 years! There is a Shorkie club of America. My puppies are very healthy, vet checked, have had atleast 2 sets of shots and are 90% potty trained before they go, pre-spoiled and gorgeous! I did not say anything wrong and I do have honest work ethics. I have no idea why you are out to get me. I have committed no crime other than trusting stranger who said "you shouldn't trust anybody, you can trust me but you shouldn't tell people your business". "My response to you was I know but I can't help it, I trust everyone especially after we have been friends for 2 years" remember? I made you a really nice offer like I said. I don't whay you would try to ruin a stranger and her business much less someone in the same profession. Look how you have gotten all of these innocent people believing you? I agree. Personally seeing bible quotes on business websites offend me.

Also wanted to state, that I used to live near Temecula, and Winchester and Temecula are right next to each other. Lots of big mansions down there too. I'm serious. Also lots of pet shops down there. I know of two that have since gone out of business.

I don't know why you or your "sis" would be at the dog shows, what would you have to offer to the show? Perhaps if you tried to do, as most of the people on here, and breed to the betterment of the breed, instead of trying to over populate the mixes of this breed, you would find yourself in one of the RV's instead of standing outside the lines (pun intended) green eyed with envy!
