All the ifs, ands or buts doesn't matter , the one constant proof is in the pedigrees. Both the Biewer and the Nikkos line of Parti's Do go back to Streamglen. It is in recorded pedigrees and that cannot be changed. Some other parti lines trace back to Wildweir, some to Durrer and few others. Now whether the Biewers mixed something in, who knows for sure? But it is my belief that the Parti-colored Yorkie is true 100% Yorkshire Terrier. One of our club members talked with Gloria Lipman(Nikkos Kennels) personally and there was NO other breed mixed in the Nikkos line and she had the dogs DNA'd to prove this. AKC closed her down for months during this process and she was out alot of money to get this done so that they could be registered with their true color stated on the papers and not just say blue and tan. |

I have found no info on breeders trying to "create" or "make" white yorkies in the early 1900's, only reference to breeders trying to promote the white yorkshires (because they were being born in traditional litters). I was just asking if she could tell us where she found her info on early white yorkies. In reference to your stating that there are no parti's in the UK, I did post a link to a thread from early 2008, about a breeder in the UK who had a litter with parti pups ... Just because you don't hear of parti being born in the UK, does not mean that it doesn't happen ... because it does and has happened ;-) |

trying to sell parti.biewer/splitter with a price tag of £450 for a splitter upto £2,000 for a biewer these breeder's have since been taken off all internet dog selling site's here in the uk as they had created a biewer/parti look a like by using the yorkshire terrier/shih tzu/maltese terrier,These breeder's have been repoted to the uk tradeing standard's for selling something that is not.It has been confirmed there have been NO BIEWER'S imported to the uk. I hope this help's. |
[QUOTE=Breezeaway;3020855]Just what is your hangup with Crufts? Yes, someone sent that info to me and I posted it but I have taken it off for the time being. I have contacted Crufts and they are looking into it as maybe being a Junior title( best breed), anyway AKC is sending me all his Champion stats so the correct info will be posted when I get it. Why are you making such a big deal out of? What do you want me to do get on my knees and beg forgiveness. Geeesh get over it.[/QUOTE Oh dear breezaway,I did not mean to upset you and i don't think i have said anything wrong for you to be so defensive with me,I mearly said someone did check out what you had said about nikos rolls royce ashley winning cruft's on your web site and that the uk kennel club had confirmed they have never heard of him,So i don't see how they can say they will look into this and maybe place him junior title (best breed)May i ask what colour was he.I am only passing information the same as you have hun. I don't mean to step on toes here but it is good that the public get other people's view's and knowledge on this breed don't you think. |

Hiya to you too! :D No, I didn't refer to "breeders in the UK having parti yorkies for sale in 2008" ... I guess you didn't read the entire thread that I posted? It was one UK breeder who came to YT because they had a traditional litter with a few parti's in it and they were unsure what to do or how could it be? They were very surprised; they didn't know if they could be registered; they came here asking questions and wondering if any one else had seen black, white and tan pups in their litters before. They didn't advertise them for sale - they came here for help. Are you're assuming that this one case is the same case that you "reported to the UK Trading standards for selling something that it is not"? |
