Well lets hope this breeder did her homework when it comes to breeding. She has a parti litter that is due any day now.

Homework has been done. But really didn't ask for anything more than if someone else had bought a pup from him. I've been breeding yorkies for years. I will not breed anything under 5 lbs. my pups are all vet checked and bile acid tested before they are even allowed to leave my home.My vet has a 24 hour emergency facility so if an inkling of a problem arises over night I always have access to him.And nobody ever leaves until they are 12 weeks old. From some of the posts that are all over this website alot of people have bought from mills and probably don't even know it. So if anyone has something at least helpful please post if not don't bother. Thanks

I don't know if you will consider it helpful or not but bile acid testing at or before12 weeks, is not recommended. For more accurate results, I believe you should wait until at least 16 weeks.

My vet recommends at 10 weeks. But all vets have different reasons.

I don't get it either!
I don't understand coming on to a Yorkie forum and asking if someone has bought from a certain breeder, to me you are looking for reviews and/or opinions.
I also don't understand someone being an experienced Yorkie breeder and not doing their homework and hope they get lucky!
Based on the info on their website, I hope the puppy isn't going to be bred!

And only because you said many bought Puppy Mill dogs here - no....Not true...

Many are MISLED and only find out after where their dogs actually came from. I've been here a long time and can honestly say I've never seen anyone happy when they find out the true story about where their puppy actually came from - It's not like these places (USDA) are going to state they're a puppy mill right ?

I do have a question - why would a 'breeder' buy from someone who is USDA ?

You only have one shot at making a first impression!

It's also a lot of people notice first, I know I do! And then I roll my eyes as i continue to look at a site, IF i get that far. Often I see so many errors and I will just hit the back button.

I have my friend proofread for me. I have pretty good spelling and grammar (when I want or need to) but I often work on web site late at night and I make typo's. hehehe.. So my friend will go check it over for me and she can spot an error quicker than anyone I have ever met!!

USDA is a red flag and multiple breeds. The one thing I do find in their favor; is that if anything is wrong with your puppy, you have the choice of another puppy or your money back....

I agree, and also, they don't have a ton of pups available. They seem to mainly breed yorkies.
