Donating YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() When the puppies are 3-4 weeks we move them into an ex-pen, half of which has peepee pads on the floor. When ever we see a puppy pee or poop on the pad, we rewarded the pups verbally. Seems by the time they are 8 weeks old they usually go on the pad. I keep their play pen very clean and remove poop immediately. |

| ![]() Well I have another question then. How do you keep their behinds clean? Seems like poo gets stuck there all the time. Should I cut the hair around that area? |

| ![]() Yes, you have to trim the hair on their behinds. Some need it sooner than others, depending on how much coat that have. |
