Continued Biewer and Yorkshire Haven I am sometimes ashamed to call myself a breeder as I get phone calls from people seeking information and they speak of how rudely they were treated, and yes it has been about some of you as I recognize your kennels. I do not bash you, but rather make excuses for you as I do not know you or what you are about. I feel as a responsible and caring breeder that we want to educate the public and the people who are looking at buying our puppies. I also think as breeders that we need to help each other as there are a lot of public agencies that would like to take away our right to raise puppies in our homes. I am against puppy mills and places where the animals are only a source of profit. I am also against puppies and dogs being crated or in wire cages being fed cheap dog food and not getting routine vet care. I am……even though a lot of you would not agree a lot like most of you. I love my animals and I would do anything for them. Am I perfect in everything I do for them. Absolutely not!!!!! Do I make mistakes…..Yes. One of my mistakes is probably wasting my time responding to your vindictive comments. Bottom line…..I would rather sell a puppy inexpensively if I knew it was going to a good and loving home that sell it to one where it will not know what love is all about. As a breeder I would hope that is what we all desire. I guarantee my puppies against genetic defects. I do require documentation that they are being cared for properly as I will not be responsible for people who do not take care of my puppies. I also require people who buy from me to stay in contact and let me know how the pups are doing. I enjoy knowing that I have brought love to someone’s life and that my dogs are in a home where they are well loved and well spoiled. So in closing let me say I pray that no one ever speaks as cruelly about any of you as I will continue to defend you when I get calls about your kennels. I do not personally know you and I do not have first-hand knowledge of your dogs so it is not my place to speak harshly of you. I will continue to provide information and direction to those seeking assistance and will even give Yorkie Talk as a place to gather information regarding the care of Yorkies. I will however not utilize this site for my own personal knowledge as I do not believe in the negativity that has taken place. Sincerely, Laura Henson PROUD owner and breeder at Biewer and Yorkshire Haven. |

The ones on her website look like they are dying of thurst. You can tell their hot and panting just looking at them. It's sad. Plus she has tons of puppies. Do what you want but you sure have been warned. Wheather anyone here has heard of this breeder or not just looking at those pictures would make me go else where. All the red flags are there, it's up to you now. I see the breeder is posting. Hmmmmmmmmmmm how did she know about this thread? Always amazes me when they come out of the woodwork. |
This breeder did not come out of the wood work. I spoke to her because I was asked to and I have an appointment with her this Saturday. I have not met her and I don't know her and I imagine neither does any one here. Looking forward to meeting Laura and visiting her place. Hope everyone has a great day! |
Breeder out of the woodwork??????/ Interesting concept! However it is also interesting how I was contacted by someone who was not even in my area or looking for a puppy, or even involved in posting on this blog as they also did not like the vindictiveness of this blog. PS: My dogs were hot they were playing in the front yard. Ooops a puppy mill would only keep their pups in cages. I keep forgetting that is what I am supposed to do. I always thought we wanted our pups and dogs to have fun. I have a lot of pups???????? Interesting I only have 3 for sale. The rest are pictures of pups that have been sold. |
Please dont buy from these people going by the pics they might not even be healthy. Make sure before buying any puppy y do ur homework and see who and how they live. There are lots of good breeders here and trust me you are not going to find a good quality furbaby for 600. Good luck |

NO respectable/reputable Biewer breeder would sell a Biewer puppy for 600.00. That websites dogs look like poor breeding results. The hair and the ears on some are awful. And what reputable Yorkie or Biewer breeder would have their webpage designed with drawings of mixed dogs? RUN! |

The reason he was priced "cheaper" was because I had to reduce his price at almost 18 weeks of age, just to get him a good pet home. And since he was on the larger size of the standard...not many pet homes wanted him. I could have sold him for a lot more if I would have sold him to a breeder...but I knew he was meant to be a great family pet...nothing more. IMO...labeling a breeder by the amount they charge for a puppy is wrong! |
Thank you Karen, I totally agree with you! |
I know a very good breeder! I got two babies from there and I am very satisfied with them! PM if your interested, I can provide you additional information.:) |

You are listed as a Parti breeder, not Biewer, from what I can see, and in the pricing with most Biewer breeders there is a difference. I have not seen or talked to a reputable Biewer breeder that sells their puppies for 600.00. And the breeders that I have spoke with have healthy puppies that are bred to standard. Those puppies on that site did NOT look well bred, period. If you choose to sell a puppy for a lower fee that is your business. But the norm is NOT 600.00 for a healthy well bred Biewer puppy, and you know this. So my statement is not ridiculous at all. |

I have not seen the breeder's site in question. There was no link provided. So I do not know what her puppies looked like. I was only addressing your statement that no reputable breeder would sell a Biewer puppy that cheap. I know for a fact...a reputable breeder will at times need to place a pet quality Biewer puppy at a much lower price. I have seen it quite a few times lately. And it is happening more and more because of the economy. And now that the Biewer market is getting saturated with Biewers of all shapes, sizes and colors...this too will force some reputable breeders to place their pet puppies into good homes at reasonable prices. |
Karen is quite right. Reputable breeders will and do place pups at a reduce price because the main concern is the placement, not the price tag. |
