That bedtime meal is very important because the pups can really drain the mom overnight. Most cases of eclampsia occur early in the morning because the mom has gone so long without food.

ohh YES, I agree with that 100% I always add a serving of whelping pudding to the last meal of the night, to keep mom going.. I am in the process of weaning my mom off the whelping pudding I like to do it slowly not to upset her system.
make sure she eats that before bed meal every day..

Pookie has some green discharges now... Is this normal? Vet says upto 3 weeks after its normal... Id like ur opinion?

Green is usually normal for the first few days then it can change to a bloody or pinkish discharge for up to 6 or 7 weeks. As long as her temperature is normal she should be fine.

Kids are doing good!

Rustie is getting really fat.. She is the biggest and seems she is the alfa of the 2.

Rockie is smaller... Little winy but she still gains weight.. Not as much as Rustie...Not even close

Day 16.. Still have eyes closed.. Ears seems to start to open.. Not completely sure..

Rockie weight 400 grams or 14.11 ounces.

Rustie weight weight 475 grams or 16.78 ounces

Big fat girls

Wow they are fatties. That's a good sign. My Lexia is 6weeks old at 1.10lbs and Lestat is 1.8lbs. Try to keep records for the future as well.

At 16 days old these guys were: Lexia=12.1onces Lestat=11.2onces

so this momma... She has REALLY BAD breath now.. She never had this before.. Is it because she is cleaning up the pups when they poop and peep?

Is there anything we can do to keep stinky breath to a minimum?

We brush her teeth but that doesnt really help!

is from the diapering the babies, you can try a bit of extra virgin coconut oil, my chanel loves it, and as soon as she whelped i gave her a 1/4 of a teaspoon, not her normal dose but it helped inmensly, I asked my holistic vet and she said it was ok, for her to have it, also it helped keeping her coat nice while she was lactating. We do the coconut oil therapy with all our dogs.
