Yes I am breeding the female in my avatar... She is a bit on the larger side (8.5lbs) but the male that I am breeding her to is smaller (4.25lbs). The two of them will complement each other very good he to bring size to standard and her to bring his really light coat closer to standard. I do plan on additional litters if this cross works out good in conformation to standard. I am really hoping for the best, as I am looking to show down the road. My girl has the confidence for the show ring but not the size. So with the right nurturing and handling from me and her we should have some well-adjusted confident pups on our hands in the next few months... That aside I do know of Cape Cod Yorkies... Actually, Sasha is from the first litter born in the house two years ago this past October. How do you know Barbara?

I think it is nice to have people lined up for the puppies - no matter what age. We don't take deposits right away though and puppies don't leave until older of course. Just a note though...not always is 12 weeks a magic age for a pup to go home. Sometimes you might get a smaller baby and the best is to keep them a little longer to make sure they do well in their new homes
