Bye for now... :( Had to return puppy today. My girls are devastated.. He is still not eating food and poo is just like water.. so the breeder agreeded to take him and he will remain there for a couple weeks until he is better. thanks to all of you and I will keep you updated |
sorry he did not get better. At least the breeder took him back. I remembered you saying they would not return your calls. Hope he can make a full recovery. |

Please, please report this breeder so she doesn't produce any more sick puppies and cause another family this heartbreak. When you are ready, I'm sure you will find a healthy Yorkie puppy to add to your family. |
I'm glad you brought him back and hopefully the breeder knows what she is doing. Puppies that small have no reserve if they don't eat. 1 day of not eating and a pup that size is in big trouble! You have to syringe feed them every 4 hrs and stuff them full ( about 10- 18 cc's ) each feeding until you can feel a round belly. It is a full time job just keeping them alive if they crash hard. If you take him back, I would wait until he is closer to 1.10lb - 2 lbs and 12 wks. She should have NEVER let a puppy go that small no matter how old he is IMO. |
So sorry you had to go through this. I hope this little one gets better. |
Aww I'm sorry to hear that he wasn't improving. I'm sure your girls were upset. It's hard when you've had your heart set on getting a puppy and then this happens. That's why we try to warn people about getting these tinies. Many times they are not tinies - just too young. And if they are tiny - they still need to be treated as though they are too young. If for some reason you don't get him back, please look for a more responsible breeder and a puppy that is at least 12 weeks old. Best Wishes! |

I wasn't looking for a tiny puppy by all means.... I don't see how people can deal with 2 and 3 pounders full grown. They require alot of work expecially if they leave mom at 4 weeks. |
