| Lisette, I don't know that this includes the Goat's Milk....I haven't got that far. I do know that my vet here/Repro/Canine Nutrition Specialist.....is definately against any store bought Replacement Milk.....Just Born causing premature cataracs. Esbilac causing liver damage......I got major yelled at on Go-Go's last litter that were hand reared when I told him I was using Just Born. So, I began doing some research. A friend of mine got yelled at by her vet today, when she mentioned Esbilac.....he explained his reasons and the possibility of it causing Shunt.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | your way is a lot easier that Myra's LOL, but that is all i knew until now.. and a lot of breeders use her books, and I have them too...LOL that was some of my first steps on learning the little bit I know, I am still learning and will always be, that is one of the things I love about this is the constant learning of new ways of doing things. |

| my vet advised me against this very recent he got down right mad and said i needed to educate myself more on dog products that it causes a retarted growth of the liver in growing puppies and he often wonders if people have used thiis and that is one of the reasons we are seeing more shunts and in nursing moms that we give it to later on have liver problems that never needed to be there |

Thank you for giving this information to me and allowing me to share it. I didn't mention your name in the original post because I didn't have your permission to do so. Amazing what information is found when people communicate.......

| Goat milk is really hard to come by where I live in Canada. Our Walmart does not sell it. We are getting a new Walmart supercenter soon so I hope they stock it there. Health food stores told me they get goat milk from farmers only rarely, most of it goes directly to human babies with allergies. I did find a grocery store with pasteurized whole goat's milk but again, very sporadic. I guess the best way for me to go would be to get my own goat (I wonder what they are like to housebreak). Thanks for the info on Esbilac, I was going to use their goat's milk formula but I guess not. Audrey |

| All our local grocery stores sell canned goats milk. I didn't think it would be that difficult to get. Well, it looks like every food product made for pets, turns out to be harmful to them. Looks like the old fashion "real" food is the only thing safe after all!
