| Ears Our puppy is now 22 days old. Until now his ears had been perky, but now they seem to flop a little. I did shave off the hair on his ears since quite a lot had grown and they seemed to perk up a little bit. How do I know if I will need to tape his ears? Our last litter we never had an issue with, their ears were perky. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I would wait until atleast 8 weeks or older to tape ears. I have only done it once and I didn't do it until she was around 10 weeks old. Mine are 3 weeks today and some are starting to flop a little but I thought it was normal. I have pictures in the nursery I posted today. I did have a girl once that her ears were up from day one and never went down. I really don't know so I will be looking what others say.

| I would just keep them shaved down and wait until 11 to 12 weeks to start taping. I just did my two that weren't up, and after 4 days taped they are standing, but I would have waited to see if they would stand on there own, but one is going home Sunday, so I wanted them up.

| You could start shaving them once a week to keep the weight off them.
