Good lordy...this is so exciting I could pee my pants! So fun to wait for someone to have their babies after just going through it here! Good luck!!!!!!

Fun, you are one sick puppy. But, I really know what you mean, it's not you in the line of fire. How'd you like to whelp 2 liters within 36 hours.

If that ever happens to me I am buying someone here a plane ticket to come stay with me. I would go mad.. they would have to hospitalize me after..:confused:

I have a girl late for her heat cycle and one that is due in heat soon. I am so scared they will go the same week.:eek:

Fun? hardly. This is nerve wracking. I haven't slept well in days. giving her meds around the clock, watching her very closely, afraid to leave her for a minute and if i leave the house i have to take her with. I just want it to be over with. I'm stressed out about all of it...her (being my best friend and the best dog i've ever owned) stressed about my kids (mind you who are both 1 and 3) and stressed that my husband is coming home from his tour in 3 days. so fun? no. but regardless i love these dogs with all my heart already.

and i have to say i have a lot of respect for the true breeders out there.

Rest assured one will come into heat and bring in the other one.

I thought I'd have a week between each one. It's the first time I'd bred back to back. But, one whelped prematurely and the other one 36 hours later....talk about being stressed out. I hope it never happens again. If it does, I'll just skip one of the girls......even if it's 2 seasons between breeding.

You are a brave soul. Whelping a litter with two toddlers. But, great your husband is coming home.

I am so nervous for you. I wish I lived closer I would love to come help you out. Even if was to let you take a nap or play with your little ones.

i know, im excited about him coming home, but its exhausting. taking care mrs. laynee, my kids, cleaning house and getting all my husbands clothes washed and hung, christmas, etcc.....im worn

One thing you must remember. If she has the litter tonight, take her in for a POP shot in the morning. Oh! and you can't sleep for 2 hours after your done. You have to watch her and the pups, making sure everything is ok.

thank you...but i wont go nuts just yet..lol trust me ive been through worse. my fear is overall just laynees health. i swear id be in a nut house if i lost her. this dog has saved my life twice. i need her to be ok

I mean "fun" in the way that someone is gonna have pups SO soon and it's exciting to find out how many and boys or girls...etc. Not "fun" as in being nervous and anxious, lol.

I hear ya girl! The day I realized my girl was gonna whelp...finally....I spent from 5 a.m. till 11 at night when she had them on the floor with her. It's so exhausting and nerve-racking! By the looks of your pic it should be anytime now....grab a book and see if you can get your mind elsewhere for a bit....till she pushes.

Hang in there. My girl didn't do A THING till she was ready to push. Then she gave about 4 weak pushes in a span of an hour...then it was go time! She had all three 10 minutes apart!
