| I dont know if its the same with kittens as it is dogs but I have a baby kitten that got loose stools when she started eating food also. I read on the internet that can happen at that time. I also read it can happen if you overfeed them which I was doing also. My vet said I could give her two drops of kaopectate. So I did and it cleared right up

| I recommend getting them to the vet right away or take in a stool sample. Coccidia often shows up at this age and you do not want to take any risks. |

| Hopefully a yorkie breeder will come on and tell you for sure. With the kitten I have to feed 4 times a day but a very small amount sincee shes so tiny. The problem I got into was she wouldnt wean so I had to hand feed her and I was giving her too much as her portion size

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | can you call your vet and drop a stool sample from the pups? they can analize it and call you in for a visit if necessary or prescribe the medicines without you having to expose the pups to the vet's office... I am a bit leary of new pups in the vet's office.. you know you never know what is in the waiting room.. just a thought.. hugs, cArmen in nj |
