puppies turned 4 weeks old yesterday-please advise Hello everyone! Abbey and Butterbeans litter are now 4 weeks old!! It haas been a hard 3 weeks bottle feeding them(mom had too low calcium) but all 6 are doing great now. The vet had told us to give them the puppy formula with baby rice cereal. I do this once a day and bottle feed them as well. They have started not seeming so interested in the bottle. Is this "normal"? What else should I be feeding them? Butterbean in my baby and Abbey is my moms but since they have been being feed around the clock I have brought them to my house. So this is the first time I have had little ones since the stud is mine. Any advise is greatly apperciated. As always please forgive my misspellings

I am sure this has kept you very busy bottle feeding so many around the clock.. I would think at 4 weeks they can be eating a mush.(what I call it ). I grind up puppy food and add puppy replacer.. start by putting some on your finger and let them lick it off.. generally they will like this...Just keep mom away when you feeding the babies so u can see who is eating how much to keep track.. Hope this helps, I am sure there are many suggestions out there..

From my understanding mush(gruel) is puppy food crushed with puppy formula, is that correct? Thank for all your help!
