Sophie will be a year old in November and she is still really dark. Her coat grows really fast and is super thick. It does have a nice shine to it as long as I condition it well but she definatly doesn't have a silky coat.

Both of mine say blue and gold. but looks more black to me.

I love both combos of colors. And, have owned them all. I have the Biewer/Partis now and adore them!! But, I had to find a little Yorkie to sorta start helping my grief over the death of the heart of my heart Jesse. I have the sweetest, cutest little 14 eek ol baby girl and I have no idea what color she will be. She has a blue eye flash and she does have a silky coat. But, Jesse was such a beauty in that silvery, blue coat. Sorry, I didn't mean to get off the subject but I did want to say I have had dogs break their adult colors at 2+ years..
