| Where is a reputable place to buy a yorkie in DFW? No starlight's yorkies please I had a very bad experience buying a dog from Katherine, Starlight's yorkies. Her dogs on her site are photoshopped. It looked nothing like the pictures posted on her website. The dog was alot bigger than I was told and looked nothing like the picture on her website. It was either majorily photoshopped or not the same dog period. I am not going down the same road again. I am looking for a new baby to add to my home and recommendations are highly appreciated. I am not interested in breeding, just want another baby. I definately want one smaller then the one I got from Starlight's. So anything under five pounds would be great! |

| Most breeders on here don't breed for pups to be small. They like their pups to be well build and solid. Most would be between the 5-7 lbs range. There are breeders out there that breed for smaller pup, they charge more for the pups, and the pups can have more health issues than the bigger ones. With that being said, there are breeders that breed for the bigger sized dogs that do once in awhile get the smaller sized ones. Your gonna have to keep looking till you find a great breeder, that happens to have a small pup. Good luck on your search for a new addition to your family.

| Thank you for the information. Five pounds would be great. My girl now is 8-9. She is really big. She is a sweet girl though, I was suprised at her size though. She was supposed to be small. I have had several pm's from people helping me find a new baby. Thanks to everyone! |
