| I know what you are feeling. I got my puppy when she was 7wks and the mother and father was small. but she is now 6months at 6pd she is big. I wanted a small yorkie. but she is a joy.and I love her she is so bad. how old are there when they stop growing? also she fur is not all that long. I brush her every day with a fight, is where anything that I can do to make her fur grow? |

YT 2000 Club Member | well I have a yorkie mix... momma is a full bred toy poodle.. 4 pounds.. daddy is a yorkie poo mix... 4 pounds.... Tucker... is 9 pounds.. he is the same height has his daddy but obviously weighs a good deal more. I know that he is a mix.. but anything is possible. You cant always go buy what the parents wiegh. However a good breeder would have a record of what past pups wieghed, for generations so a decent breeder could give you a estimate of what the pup may wiegh, but nothing is guarenteed.. oh and ive seen both parents on a regular basis... they are still both 4 pounds..

| From what I've read on here, you really can't predict what size the pup is going to be for sure. Just remember the bigger they are the more there is to love.
