| How soon do you usually notice PG in your Yorkie? Our 4.7 lb. female had her first tie on August 8th. All of the ties were short--she pulled away each time as the male tried to turn around--so we were all doubtful--however, her belly is definitely rounder, she threw up three times yesterday, and she is ravenous, which is unusual. We are around the two-week mark.

| My girl has a clear slight discharge the whole of her pregnancy. Stomach issues too. BTW, if you breed her again hold her so she doesn't turn like that. Both dogs can be harmed.

| My little girl tied the first week in August as well. August 6th to be exact was her first tie out of three ties. She had morning sickness yesterday morning (the only time so far), and has been eating like a pig, around 5 times a day. She use to just eat 2 big meals and one snack a day, but she has been eating 5 full meals a day, and sleeping most of the day. Its still to soon to be sure (could be a false pregnancy) but we should both know more in the next few weeks if it took. Usually by week 5 most can feel a pup or more. My girls belly is increasing in size already and she has started to get milk ducts around her lower nipples.

| I could tell when Zoe was about 33 days. So yes, about 5 weeks. She had 4 puppies so I imagine, with less puppies, it might take even longer to tell. Good luck! |

| My Yorkie Carly was believed to have her tie around Aug 12th or so. I took her to the Vet yesterday for a check up because she is showing signs of pregnancy, stomach a little swollen and boobies are swelling as well. She has also been a lot calmer then normal and sleeping more. She is normally very hyper. She has also gained weight, almost a whole pound. She weighs now 8 lbs and the sire weighs about 4 lbs. The Vet did say her belly was a little swollen and confirmed her heat is over and she does have swollen boobs. When we left the Vet and headed home Carly was lying on my lap with her head down then suddenly stood up and started vomiting. She threw up 4 times within 5 min on the way home yesterday. She has gagged several times today as if she were going to throw up again but never did. She has been on the road many times and has never been car sick and the Vet was a short ride, she has been on the road for about an hour several times so I know it wasn't car sickness. This is our first litter and I am a stay at home mom to school age children so I look forward to being a great first time birthing grandmother by being by her side every step of the way. I am very excited especially since my bday is Oct 13th and that is about her due date! yay! lol Pround Mommy to Lexy & Carly (Yorkies) and Buddy (Mix Bull Dog-Shih Tzu) |
