Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | It is my understanding that a female will have a heat cycle every 6 months or so (depending on the female) whether they have had pups or not. So go by Tink's normal heat cycle. If she normally goes into heat every 6 months....7 months...., then count that from the start of her last cycle (in March?). To prevent pregnancy, watch her closely, check her regularly each day for signs, and keep them separated for at least 21 days from the start of her cycle. Good luck to you.
