I haven't posted any updates in a while but Brandee is due today and is digging and rearranging blankets. She doesn't dig very often so I'm hoping she's close. It would be really nice if she would have them now instead of in the middle of the night but since it's 8 already I imagine I'm looking at a long night.

It's 11:30 now and she's acting pretty normal, not quite as active as normal and I can see her belly moving the puppies are pretty active in there. I'm about to head to bed and just get up and check her every hour or so, maybe I'll have a good update in the morning. Whitney

No puppies yet she just seemed uncomfortable all night. Now she's outside in the fenced in yard chasing the horses around the fenceline. I'll post another update when she shows more signs or has them.

Day 65...And, We're FINALLY On Puppy Watch!!! Or, so I hope!!! We still have several hours of waiting to go because Miss Ginger usually sleeps and labors really quietly during the day. And, introduces me to my fur-grand children during the wee hours of the morning. But, her temperature FINALLY dropped, she's been using the potty pad to potty instead of going out with the rest of my Peanuts (for her that is WAY out of character) because she refuses to have any thing to do with stairs and has been nesting on and off. Here's a few pictures of the little Momma to be that my daughter took of her doing quite well so far... I will have my daughter update you on our progress a little later on. But, please say a prayer... This is the first time I have not had an xray done before whelping and I am a nervous wreck!

Good luck! I just went through this on the 9th and boy is it exciting and scary all at once. My little girl basically started showing she was ready to get started in the morning with digging and panting. As the day went on she seemed fine and rested alot. around 7:00 more digging and by 8:00 we had our first. She was finished by 9:40. She had 4 litttle babies. Prays coming your way!!!!!
