| 11 week olds have male instinct already Please help . i bought a 11 week old male this past weekend and love him to death . And wanted to get him a play mate so i bought a little girl that is 8 weeks old . Well never imagined what would happen. My little baby boy is climbing on her and humping . She is smaller than her . I was going to put them in ex pen together for company during the day while i was at work . They play great together . I am worrried he will hurt her or something while we are gone . Please I need advise . We thought one day of breeding them but never thought we would be acting like this so soon . Thank you for any help you can give . |

| At this age, it's not sexual--it's about dominance. He's telling her that I am boss of this house. I would make sure that, unless you are breeding, you get them fixed when they are old enough. I am so glad that I have 2, they will be best friends and have so much fun together. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Lol, not to worry, this is what the dominant dog does. Joey did display this habit with his stuffed animals as well, but that stopped about a month after we got him neutered. When he's around other dogs who have also been neutered they will try to do it to each other, but they are just saying that they want to be the boss.
