| Radar is my show dog and is kept in oil and wraps and is allowed to go outside in the grass, concrete, through the doggie door, on my bed, on the furniture, sleeps on a cotton fabric bed or satin whichever he wants. He's my pet first and show dog second and he has a BEAUTIFUL in condition coat. He's treated no different than my pets except kept in oil and in wraps. Donna |

If you see a silk coat in the dark it shimmers.

| Also a silk coat is cool to the touch and a soft, or cotton coat is warm to the touch. I never actually believed that but it's true! Radar's coat is very cool to the touch and Brookie's is warm to the touch and her coat does NOT reflect the light |

| Yuppers, I have to re-wrap him about every two days and bathe him ever 4 days and back in oil and fresh wraps! But he's allowed to do anything my pets are allowed to do LOL...it's funny, you'd freak out if you saw him in hotel rooms when there are two double beds in the room he's jumping from one bed to the next and it's so funny to see Linda's and other's gasp when he does it LOL! He should be in agility lol |

| I have one soft coated yorkie in the bunch. Anniversary, I did grow her to full coat...but, what a pain. I ended up cutting her topknot first, after I came home from a show weekend and hubby handn't combed it out. It was a rats nest.....Then one day I just decided to cut her down....she hid for 2 days, now she loves it.

| Sorry if I am being a pain but one more question please. Are all these things true of their puppy coat or only after they come into full coat as adults? Laddy as I said before is 9 months old. Thanks.

| I don't know what your experience has been, but even with newborn pups you can feel the difference.
