| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Wow, that's quite a difference! I feel a little better now. The saying goes, "Patience is a virtue", guess I need to practice on that a little bit.

she may not only be a week behind but the sperm can live for 5 days I believe and the eggs at least 3 if I remember correctly. This was my first whelp so I have read so much I can't remember it all. Also my girl Molly had a clear discharge this late in the pregnancy plus at about 30 days my other dogs started treating her differently so I suspected she was pregnant even though my vet couldn't palpate anything the first visit. I wish you luck in your desire for puppies. | |

| I was gone all day with my hubby at an amusement park, and I just got home about 5 minutes ago.. grabbed Roxie to take a pic of her belly, and now it's fuller than it was this morning. But still a lot smaller than it was a couple of days ago. Hmm. Her little boobies seem to be bigger, especially her nips, than they were this morning. Goodness, I probably sound like a loony ! I was thinking of taking her in for a blood test on Monday, but now I'm feeling a little more reassured by looking at her nips. You know, maybe she was smaller this morning because she went all night without eating..? And maybe she only has one pup in there. I will take a pic anyway for you guys. |

| Morning Ladiesssss... I am a VERY happy camper (well hope to be), I thought I was going crazy but hubby confirmed it for me. We were playing with her this morning & just turned her over, all of a sudden as im rubbing her belly I notice a bump/ball in her stomach that I knew wasnt there before, as were talking & rubbing the bump, it all of a sudden disappeared! we looked at each other like was that really a baby maybe moving?! So I feel a lil better. Is it possible that could have been a puppy? we felt very softly around the rest of her belly & nothing, like it went into thin air, so i assume its either 1 puppy or maybe more but b/c they are so tiny they are hiding... at 5.5 wks can I actually feel the balls moving??? |
