anyone heard of crazywomenkennels.com I catch myself visiting her site often because there's always updates of different puppies available. She breeds yorkies too but you'll have to constantly check to see when she has them. Has anyone ever hard of her (or them)? I'm interested in her puppies and I don't live too far away from where she's located but I don't really trust doing the whole deposit thing

What they've got on their webpage now are all pretty much just mutts. There is a mom that is Shih Tzu x Poodle and was bred to a maltese and she wants $300 for the puppies. And there are 3/4 Cavalier 1/4 Cocker Spaniel. You can get dogs like that at the pound and save a life. I'd keep looking you can find reasonaly priced puppies at better breeders. Where are you located? Whitney

| I personally wouldn't buy from them.... The name turned me off before I looked at the site.... They are breeding multiple breeds & designers.... They may be a broker, but if you're close, I'd check them out in person, as looks can be decieving.

I have any first hand experience with them, but judging off the website, I wouldn't recommend them. It's not just one breeder, it's a group of breeders. Most of the dogs they seem to be producing are "designer breeds" some with more than two breeds even! They release the dogs at 8 weeks, which is way too young! Obivously the dogs aren't going to be registered. There is no info on the breeding stock, health guarantees...nothing basically other than a list of the pups for sale. I would keep looking. It makes no sense to consider someone with questionable breeding practices when there are lots of honest, ethical breeders out there.

I thought it was weird how she writes that the puppies will be registered. I'm not an expert at this but I thought only puppies who are full breed could be registered. Am I wrong?

There are some registries that will register mixed breed dogs, provided that both parents were full, recognized breeds. They don't register them as a recognized breed, because obviously, such a thing does not exist, but they register them as the offspring of two full bred dogs. Very misleading, IMO...not to mention pointless.
