Yorkie Talker | Hair products/conditioning Hey everyone, What do you all use on your yorkies that you keep in a full coat? I have been searching for the right products... I currently use the Pet Head shampoo and conditioner, but it isn't giving me the quality I want. My yorkies all have longer coats, but they go outside and play a lot, so they need a good repairing conditioner. I usually have to bathe 3 of them every 3 days, because they get so dirty when playing outside. Is there a product that I could use that often that would not damage their hair or reduce the shine and softness? Thanks yall! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm not too particular about specific brand shampoo but I am very choosy when it comes to conditioner. I've used numerous conditioners and have yet to find one that comes close to the results I get with Iv San Bernard's PEK conditioner. My Reno is in full coat, plays outside, also plays with 2 other rambunctious boys here - PEK conditioner is the product to remove tangles, repair split ends and keep his coat, silky, shiny and healthy. The conditioner is expensive and hard to get, but it has been a life saver for me! | It's not difficult to keep the silky coat in excellent condition without being costly, but the cotton coat is a challenge to say the least. I have to use a combination of 4 things to keep my Azraels coat soft and easy to comb, and her hair is the thickest I've ever seen on a Yorkie.

| I am very new to being owned by yorkies but I have found threw trial and error and I know some say wrong ph but I use chi shampoo and chi oil on my little guy and his hair looks great all week and has amazing shine. I tried lots of others including minksheen but he always looked like he needed a bath in 2 days. this picture was taken 4 days after his bath and he still has lots of shine |

Thank you all for the compliments. I tell you though, with out this conditioner I would have became too frustrated months ago and gave up! The only drawback (if you want to consider it one) is his coat is so silky, it makes him slippery to hold on to. I found a toll free number for any questions you have about setting up an account or ordering. I order mine through a friend that is a representative for them. I've ordered the shampoo now and will let you all know what the results are. 1-877-589-8436

| Pet Head Product Hello! I am a representative withi Pet Head and noticed your comment about Pet Head's shampoo and conditioner not giving you the quality you want. What product have you used in the past? Maybe we can send you a different shampoo and conditioner and see how that works out? It is important to us that you find a shampoo and conditioner you like! Talk to you soon, Ananda |

| PEK Conditioner The PEK Conditioner is not that expensive especially when diluted. It is an extremely popular product. Just call us on our toll-free line at 1-877-589-8436 and we will find a way for you to procure it. We have a number of other products that are very relevant for Terriers. Hi, and welcome to YT, so glad you could join. I've been reviewing (favorably) your product here on a couple of different threads. When I say something is expensive, I realize that is a relative term, you know what might be for some isn't for others.......I do know regardless of how expensive/inexpensive the PEK conditioner is, I will continue to buy it, as nothing I've used comes close to the PEK. I would make a suggestion for your company, to utilize USPS for shipping. Your products are not too expensive but after a $15-20 shipping charge is added to the product cost, it does become cost prohibitive for some. I would add here, for show people, one exhibitor friend prefers the product diluted (or use another product) for the topknot area. With her very silky boy, the PEK is a little heavy and made it difficult to keep his topknot up.
