Congrats to you iam so glad everything went smoothly. Unfortunately for me it didn't. My daisy delivered on Sunday morning via c-section. She is ok and has 3 beautiful babies 2boys and 1 girl.

Congratulations on your new litter. I know c-sections are stressful. I am glad that momma and babies are fine. Did her milk come in? Is she caring for her babies?

Awww, so sorry for the need of the C-section, but at least Daisy is well and 3

beautiful babies! That is reason to celebrate; congratulations to you!

Yes Momma and babies went to the doc today and the doc was amazed at how much milk she is producing. Gotta love homemade chicken broth (she loves it )and it keeps her hydrated Babies have hardly made a peep. They are very content. She is really tired tonight. Too much excitement for her today.

I always shave belly hair and trim the beard. I have had puppies to get tangled in the beard and the side hair. I had one I found being dragged allover the pen at three days old because it was in mama's chin hair. I had another nearly strange tangled in the side hair. Both pups were found in time but it was a lesson learned.

Oh my Dee! I am glad that I went ahead and cut Livi short...she doesn't look as good, but it will be better for the babies.

My June litter arrived last night, two parti colored pups, one boy and one girl. First time mom did great and the two pups are fat and happy.

Congrats on the other early June births; it looks like June may be a busy birthing month

Molly is due June 7 or 9. I took her to get x-rayed last night but the puppies are not calcified enough to see the back bones yes. Is this normal, vet said I could have my dates wrong. I counted 63 dates from both matings and come up with the 7 or 9 of June.
Again is this normal??
