| Should I be concerned? My vet just called to check on Kallie and I told them about her temp holding at 98.6 since Saturday night and she said that maybe they should see her today to check her out since she hadn't started labor yet and I said no I wanted to give her a little more time. Then she said if her temp drops any lower to call her back and that if she hadn't had them by 8am I needed to bring her in for sure...So as soon as I hung up the phone, my paranoid, impatient butt checked her temp again and it was 97.8... Why do you think the vet is concerned? |

| Sorry, I forgot that part... She is on day 61.. It was actually the vet tech that I talked to, that is why I declined to take her in right away...I am afraid I will get there and the vet will be confused as to why I came in... |

I agree with txshopper73 - I would wait a couple of days as well. I would like to add that a "pregnant Yorkie" DOES give birth, but for those of us who are impaitient (I am in that category) the last few days are agonizing. | |

| I have heard of females running a low temperature like that for days and they delivered just fine. Like I mentioned before, low blood sure could be causing the lower temperature. Is she eating well? Have you tried giving her a little nutri-cal to see if it will raise her temperature back up? Are the puppies active? |

| I must have overlooked the part about giving her nutrical... I will try that... She would not eat yesterday and then 3am she threw up in my bed so I took her to her xpen and she immediately started eating... She has not eaten since 3am but she has drank water and the puppies are very active.. She is on the couch with me sleeping right now but she keeps changing positions...She is not very comfortable that's for sure....I will try the nutrical and give her more time...Thanks everyone.. |

| I would surely give her another day or two as well. She sounds like she is just about ready to go into labor.
