Hello America!!!!
My partner suprised me and bought me a little tiny tiny Yorkie Pup to join my other Yorkies 2 weeks ago! (Runt of a litter) She is adoarable, but sooooo tiny!
Firstly, im a breeder and i noticed her coat is so fine and short, why is this
and do you think it will remain like that?
Also, secondly,she has bulging eyes?????
Really concerned, ive put a picture of her on Avitar so you can see and
let me know your views.

She looks to be more of a Chi/Yorkie mix, or possibly all Chi which is why you would notice the difference in the coat/texture

I agree she looks like she has some chiuhuaha in her. She's a cutie.

Oh dont tell me that! My hubby paid alot of money for her and she has papers! She looks yorkie to me with a sharpe face?
She is the runt of the litter, do you think her coat will get longer?

She looks like a mix to me too. I am so sorry. What registry? How much was a lot?? She will most likely not look like a purbred yorkie full grown. How old is she?? She seems Very Very young to have left her mom. Poor baby!

How long did you Quarantine her before putting her with your babies?? Just a thought!

How old is this puppy? She looks pretty young. I think it could be possible for her to get more coat but it will probably be thin and slow growing.

I agree with the others. While she is very cute

I do not think there is any way she is a full yorkie. I could even see her being a purebred black and tan chi. Even if she were only 6 weeks old (I pray she is older, just sayin tho....) her hair would still be longer than that. How long have you been breeding? It just seems you would be able to tell that she is not purebred right off the bat. Not being mean or anything at all

as I said before she looks like a little cutie bug, just not like a yorkie, or a full yorkie anyway

I forgot to ask these questions and if you do not know the answer to them - they are great questions to ask The Breeder of this pup:

1. Did your hubby see the parents of this pup?
2. Did you see the pedigree of this pup?
3. Did he do research on the breeder to make sure she is reputable and breeds pure bred yorkies? If she is young pup (less than recommended 12 weeks of age) - sounds like the breeder is either not reputable or does not know what she is doing.

My gut feeling is she is a mix.
Did you want to breed mix pups? If no, thank goodness - sounds like you have two options
A. Go back to the breeder and get a refund.
B. Keep her and have her spayed.

These are all good questions, since you are a breeder and would effect you. I think you know she is probably mix too, or you would not have these gut feelings. Whether she grows hair or not, if she is not pure yorkie, are you sure you want to breed her. Also if she is tiny - she might not grow to a size big enough to be bred. I know hubby's try and mean well. Sounds like you have a bit of a mess to untie. Best of luck to you. I truly hope everything works out for you.

thanks for all your replies to my question, is she mix breed, i really thought that she would not be,but looking at her everyday im beginning to think that u lot are right. My hubby did see mum and dad and they were Yorkies, so he said, and im not disbelieving him, but since i did not see them, i have to take his word for it, but i dont think he would know if they were not oure bred. She is 9 weeks old now, and i will probably end up keeping her and getting her speyed.
Wat do u think of her sister?? pictures attached.
