I forgot to ask these questions and if you do not know the answer to them - they are great questions to ask The Breeder of this pup:
1. Did your hubby see the parents of this pup?
2. Did you see the pedigree of this pup?
3. Did he do research on the breeder to make sure she is reputable and breeds pure bred yorkies? If she is young pup (less than recommended 12 weeks of age) - sounds like the breeder is either not reputable or does not know what she is doing.
My gut feeling is she is a mix.
Did you want to breed mix pups? If no, thank goodness - sounds like you have two options
A. Go back to the breeder and get a refund.
B. Keep her and have her spayed.
These are all good questions, since you are a breeder and would effect you. I think you know she is probably mix too, or you would not have these gut feelings. Whether she grows hair or not, if she is not pure yorkie, are you sure you want to breed her. Also if she is tiny - she might not grow to a size big enough to be bred. I know hubby's try and mean well. Sounds like you have a bit of a mess to untie. Best of luck to you. I truly hope everything works out for you. |
