| x-ray date? Abby will be 57 days on tues. the 24th and that is the day that I have set up for a x-ray to find out how many pups she is carrying. What day do you usually take your girls in for their x-ray? Is day 57 too early? |

| ~I usually get mine at 57-60 days. Vet says as early as 45 days, but I like to wait a little bit longer. Good Luck!!! |

| my vet has said 50-56 is what he likes. I think anytime after 50 days will give the same information, probably. |

| I actually had 2 x-rays done for Ellie. The first one was when she was around 54 days, and they actually missed a puppy. The second one was done 3 days before she delivered and you could definitely tell more on it. 57 days sounds like a good number to me since they can have them early. |

| The bones need to calcify in order to be seen on x-rays. If done too early, you can miss a pup or two...57 days is good.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I have had all my litters xrayed at 58-60 days. The later the more accuate. You want the bones to show on the exray so non are missed (althought that can still happen! ) |
