| I would offer more formula. Some puppies can lose the instinct to suck, especially if they have gone a long period without feeding it. Sometimes once you hand feed once, you're stuck doing it. I'd still try to get her to suck, but I'd offer formula, too.

| i would be very concerned she isnt eating. have you tried to give her some more formula. i would do that with a dropper, at this point any amout is better than none. is it your littlest one that is the one crying? i think i saw you had one that was 2.3 ounces? she really need nutrition. i wish i could tell you how to tube feed her, but im not too sure myself. never had to do it.

| I'd also be worried about hydration at this point. You can deliver fluids by injection if you can't get liquids in her the old fashioned way. Or have your vet do it if you don't have the supplies at home. The vet could also insert a tube... sounds tricky to do at home, though I know breeders do.

| She just went poo again. I am going to give her a little more formula and then see what happens. She's sleepy but crying in her sleep. |

| Poor sweetheart - I hope she comes around. It sounds like you're working hard with her. I'm glad she pooed, at the very least!

| I would take her to the vet. Sorry to be harsh, but if she's not getting enough nutrition, she'll surely die. A vet can teach you how to tubefeed, if she's is not eating enough. She may get too weak to suck if she doesn't eat enough, she can get lethargic and start going down hill quick. If she get's too weak, she needs for the food to be literally inserted into her stomach as she gains strength enough to suckle on her own. It takes alot of energy from a tiny one. You have to watch for dehydration. You can do a pinch test on the neck skin. She may need to be sub q'd liquids if she is. Best of luck and prayers for your little one. | She's probably in needof some sugar in the form of nutridrops or karo syrup. I would also give that before eating to stimulate her appetite. |

| I just read this I had a little older puppy just do the same thing i took him to the vet he had a bacterial infection in his tummy they gave him Albion and he was much better I had to feed him till he got a little better now you would never know anything was wrong. It is better to take them and save them then to try it on your own and loose the pup. Good luck it is so hard when they are sick |

| Okay, here's the update. Mercedes died this morning. I did take her to the vet and they said that we did all that we could do. There was something internally wrong with her bowls. Thanks everyone that posted, I do appreciate all the help. |
