I just weighed him and my scale says 2 lbs 12 ozs. The vets scale is normally just a couple ounce heavier than mine and sometimes the same. So he is just under 3 lbs at 13 weeks.

I really don't have any advice to add that you have not already been given. I just wanted to give you kudos for taking over your parents' program and proceeding in such a ethical manner. You are retiring dogs that you recognize should not be bred and are going about finding quality stock in a very respectable way. That doesn't seem to happen very often and for what it's worth, I just wanted to say that I think it's awesome!

Thank you. It is wonderful to hear that someone thinks I am awesome. I love my parents dogs, and they are great dogs, but not what I want. I want to make sure that when someone see's one of my pups or dogs, they know that it is a quality Yorkie, and want one of my dogs.
