| I think the ideal breeding size of females is 6 to 8 lbs if they have the correct structure. Too many people focus just on size and try to just breed too small of yorkies and they don't look at the overall soundness of the dog. |

| It is very likely that he will end up being too big to breed. (Although, as pointed out, in reference to size, the size of the dam and sire alone are not enough, you have to have a good knowledge of the other dog in their lines as well.) |
