Day 55 Today is day 55 & I've never felt any movement from puppies. Is this normal? Her belly is hugh so I know she's pregnant. She goes for x-rays on Friday. Thanks

My Layla is also at day 55 and can't feel any babies kicking either. Mine is also huge and will see Vet this week. I don't remember feeling movement from her mommy. Good Luck at the Vet. Last edited by clm56; 01-14-2009 at 08:18 PM.

Sometimes with females that are carrying small litters you might not feel any movement until a week before delivery.

Perhaps there is only a small singleton and those sometimes are hard to feel any movement. I look forward to your update. Good Luck !

Seems like some litters are more active than others. With our first litter, I swear it was like Fight Club in there, the puppies moved a lot, you could even see it. A repeat breeding 2.5 years later and very little movement. Another bitch I felt very very limited movement in her two litters. I am a heartbeat hunter though-- you can hardly get me away from the stethascope for 10 days before whelping LOL.
