My guess is 5! She looks pretty big for day 42 I would even venture to say 6.

LOL... she is gassy right now! i was listening lastnight, and this morning and how can you distingish how many there are with heartbeats, i can hear it on both sides and up at her ribs and in the middle of her belly too! i would be happy with one healthy pup, and if there are more then we are blesses!

WOW i couldnt imagine 5 or 6? dont know if they would fit in her belly! i think she looks big too. i will take more pics next week and we will see how she looks then!

Listen with the small bell of the steth. It is much more sensitive to the sounds. They will not all beat in unison so the key is to get it as quiet as possible and try to differentiate. The best place to listen would be to each side of her - right around the nipples.

Isn't it fun???

We always have a puppy poll at our house when we have a pregnant girl!! It is fun. So I will say 5 puppies. That is a big belly for 42 days! I will say 4 girls and 1 little boy just like his daddy!!! Best of luck with her whelp. They should have cute puppies!

i never though of using the other end of the steth! omg i cant wait to go home and see her now. i listened lastnight and i heard them everywhere, but didnt know if i was hearing the same ones just further away... i love this part! i cant wait to take her for her xray!

i would love to have one little boy like his daddy, he is the best little boy in the world! his is so stinkin cute! and the four girls would be great! i will take what i get and love them to death!!!!!
