| maltipoosandmore.com? I'm considering buying a yorkie/poodle mix from a "breeder" in Norwalk, CA. I think her name is Anna, and she works through a website called maltipoosandmore. I know how everybody feels about mixes, but has anyone gone through her? The last breeder I went to completely ripped me off, and I refuse to buy from anyone else until I've heard more about the breeder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

| I'm not against designer dogs at all, but, I would suggest being able to check out any breeder if possible. It looks like she breeds a lot of dogs. If I were going to get one myself, I would find a hobby breeder close by. Most of them treat their dogs like their babies, and raise the pups in the house. I really don't think I would buy from her, mostly because she has so many different mixes. |

| I am not trying to offend or be smart in any way, but there are lots of dogs just like these at your local shelter that are slated for euthanasia. That would be my first look if I wanted a mix.

| I find this hard to believe, considering, I have 3 large shelters within an hour from me and check all the time still..(I have them on my favorites). To the op, I know quite a few great breeders that breed morkies and other beautiful mixes, but, they're not in California..Please stay away from ones that sell a lot of different breeds and find a good reputable hobby breeder |

If you want a Yorkie mix, go on to http//:Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder. These pets REALLY need homes!

| I just realized how old this thread is...Once again a new owner and first time poster comes to defend a shady breeder...

| Sour puss Just FYI - I'm not defending anyone. I'm just posting MY experience with this person since that was what the original poster was asking for .... not a lecture |
