No I think shes talking about the lady that bought theses pups from Maxine and then breed them to make mix breed dogs. not talking about you at all. I know you have said how Camden came to you. with eye, ear infections. I think the eye infection was from a scratch if I remember correctly. and I know that the rescue who took the other dogs had shave dthem all down. but I think Maxine said she had already cut them down to short coats before that. |

I did drive there, I did meet her and visit. I was shocked and saddened how Camden's condition was a 180 from how nice she sounds and how nice her house is. I just wasn't expecting it at all. It's just very sad! I just want you to know that my thoughts and feelings have nothing to do with you and I hope you don't take my posts about the breeder personally. |

Did you rescue a puppy from maxines house that was treated so badly.. I rescued so I know all about it.. and I also rescued durrer line dogs 20 years ago.. this did not seem to make her a bad breeder.. some one buys a yorkie and then mistreats it.. I took in three rescues.. so I know all about that part.. I just did not come on a public forum and make it sound like it was the breeders fault.. for most show breeders look for the best homes as I do.. but I does happen obviouly that some one is or gets betrayed and does not do right by a dog purchased..I have always said.. many people have lots of money to pay for a yorkie.. that does not mean they will make perfect parents.. and again. there are people who go far and beyond looking after a yorkie including health issues and paying a vet.. yet people feel a person that does not want to pay huge prices cannot afford to own one.. anne |

Camden had infections in both eyes. One of the eyes had the hair around her eye ripped out, which made the infection worse. She even said to us on the phone that she might have done that by yanking too hard when she was trying to brush her. We had close to $600 in vet bills within the first couple weeks of bringing her home. She was one sick little girl! |

I didnt know that Camden was sick when you got her. I do remember you saying you had her groomed and that she had a eye and ear infection and that you said Maxine told you she might of scratched her eye when combing her. and I remmeber you saying it took awhile for her to get use to all of you. I know Maxines dogs are never around other people just her. I do know that when I got Mickey he was very clean and very healthy and was up to date on his shots and she gave me his shot records. I did pay extra for his AKC papers. when I neet him he was in the house in a small playpen off to the kitchen. I have helped Maxine rehome some of her older Yorkies . through a rescue . I wanted to make sure they went to perfect homes. and I know a lot of people in my town who have got puppys from her. |

This was the condition she was in and she had recently been bred and lost her litter. |

I am not sure what happened with the dog, wether he was sold before or after her death. |

This thread was not really about Maxine so I dont know why she keeps being brought up in it. she did sell this lady Yorkies, but did not know she was useing them to breed to make mix breeds. |

Maxine has a big fenced in yard really two parts are fenced in . one is where she lets her dogs out at and the other is her yard, its really hard to explain. but its very nice. she has a really nice setup for them. Maxine is not some lady just out to make money off her Yorkies. She has money. |

We felt the same way pulling up to her house, how nice and clean it was. We did notice that we heard dogs barking behind the house in a building, but we didn't think very much until after we had been inside and didn't see any dogs except for a few puppies in a playpen. There weren't any dog toys, dog dishes, nothing that said dogs live in the house! I mean if the dogs live in her house, isn't it strange that Camden was in the garage and she never offered to bring her inside to show us? She was out there with a little tiny male. It was so sad! |
