i am also saddened by that situation ...i was thinking what we could do about it Maybe post it in the for sale section to give others the chance to get those yorkies...there are alot of members here with BIG HEARTS :)

I read the pedigree's on this person's website more thoroughly and one of her males is sired by my Camden's father and my Camden's mother is the grandmother to one of her females. Camden's Mother was turned over to a rescue group.
I shared my experience regarding Camden. She was NOT being taken care of and the male I saw when I was there didn't look good either.
The pictures I saw of Camden's mom and a few others were not in good shape either.
My personal opinion and experience with her is she doesn't provide proper medical or grooming care for her dogs and they aren't loved or socialized either. I seriously doubt she was duped and it's really sad. I really had hoped she had retired from breeding.
I think breeders should breed because they love the breed and want to breed to better and I don't think that is the case here and that's when I think it's time for someone to get out of it!

i Agree..Breeding should be for the better of the breed ..i see many yorkie pups sick due to poor breeding or just neglect ...Top breeders are very selective to correct problems with the breed...but these were pedigree yorkies to breed mixed breed ?
and a 3 31/2 pound under a year with a baby:( that little Viza ..abuse to me..i am not a breeder...but it is sad to me

WOW Im just now seeing this. I have knowing Maxine for almost 5 years now.
she lives pretty close to me, right on the other side of town. I havent checked out those web sites yet, but I will. As Reese said she did get Camden from Maxine. and I got my male Ch Mickey from Maxine 4 1/2 years ago.
The male you are talking about is Maxines Ch stud. I have talked about him on here not long ago and talked about getting a female from her. this males pup. But I changed my mind. just wasnt the right time for us.
Yes Maxine does sell her pups unaltered. and im very saddened by that. there are members on here that also have pups from her and from this male being the dad.
Maxine is a very nice lady. with a beautiful home. her dogs are feed well. but I dont believe she keeps them in her house. all her dogs are Ch and or great quality Yorkies. you wont ever see one of her pups thats not the standard.
I dont know her reasons for not unaltered her pups before rehoming them. and she does sell her pups cheaper then any AKC Yorkie breeder that ive meet, and I have talked to her about her prices and about screening people for these pups and about alterering them before they leave her home. She does not have internet and even though she knows the breeed well she would do better by knowing whats going on in the breeders world today.
I did help rehome many of her dogs, she was getting out of breeding and I posted on here and a rescue did pick those Yorkies up and vet cared them and rehomed them. I do know alot of them was shaved down, but other then that they were in good health. as of late I have heard she did not retire from breeding and is still breeding the ones she kept.just down graded. She is friends with the pre owners of this male. I do not think she knows that anyone has mixed her Yorkies or breed them to mixes. Im sure she wont be to happy about that. I plan to call her today and ask her to please only sell them after they have been fixed. I know she could do alot better by having them fixed and raising her prices to help pay to have that done. so im going to talk to her about it again. But al her Yorkies are of great pedigree.and all are standard yorkies.

If there was only a verbal agreement(like mine is) between Kathy/Bettyanne and the original purchaser of Imagine Me, there may be no recourse in getting him back And now that she sold him to someone else(Maxine?) they will probably never get him back. But we dont know the whole situation and its basically none of our business, as sad as it is.

I just talked to Maxine and there will be no more pups leaving her home with breeding rights. just wanted to let you all know. :thumbup:

Maxine said she did not know that these Yorkies she sold this breeder was being used to mix breeds. she is also very sad about this.

Well I will leave all the negative discussions to those that feel the need to beat some one up that is not on the forum to defend herself..
I do not know this lady so very personally, nor do I plan on investigating her.. I would think that would be up to durrer/murphy as you all say...I met the woman once.. talked to her many times on the phone.. saw her house as clean as can be.. and the dogs very well taken care of.. she did say she sold a person dogs that she was not happy with.. and I did not feel like it was up to me to get into her affairs..sorry but I would not and that is it...I do not have to defend myself to anyone on this forum.."I said I met her.. I said what she said to me.. do I approve.. no..". but I have a life and dogs to care for and a family and do not sit on the computer to worry about the how, what or why's people live their life, nor how they breed.. or how happy they are.. I do know that I have known many breeders in my day.. and I know they are here also.. that have sold to a breeder and been betrayed.. I worked with criminals all my life.. I am retired now.. enough said... anne

Thank you girlie.. I guess my saying something postive about maxine.. fell on deaf ears.. and then I am questioned about how I feel or think.. I think judgement can be left to others.. it is obvious that I need not say.. yet I met the woman... know her story.. and am not about to share it with others.. do what I did and drive there and visit with her..Amazing how in just over a year I have been on this forum to have me make a remark and questioned with such hostility..and yet so many on here that I know have have been treated badly.. then over night.. they are just the best kind of person and the best breeder.. :confused:

I agree she's nice to talk with and her home is clean as a pin! I was saddened and shocked that it didn't translate over to her dogs.
I'm not sure if she was referring to me when she talked about someone buying from her and not being happy.
In case it is, I want to clarify that we LOVE Camden, she is our family and she has made such a difference in our lives and we have made all the difference in the world in her life! We feel blessed to have rescued this little girl from the conditions she was living in and suffering from.
As far as negative comments about her, I feel very passionate about the way Camden had suffered and I hope that people will do their research before buying their puppies and I hope they will go to reputable breeders who are concerned about their dogs and give them proper care and love!
