| ![]() Ok, we're on day 58 today. Lilah has started roaming the house, and searching out quiet places (currently she's under my computer desk, curled against my foot). I know this is common before whelping. I have a box and all of the supplies I have been told to get on hand, so I know I am as prepared as I'm gonna get. I started taking her temp a couple of days ago, and there's not any change yet...running about 99.8-100. This morning I noticed that she's having some yellowish colored discharge, and there are times that she shakes for a few seconds. I have also noticed her a few times licking at her belly and teets. Is this all normal, or am I just being a worry-wart momma? ![]() |

| ![]() If she is only 58 days I would think that the shaking isn't normal... are you sure 100% on the dates? The nesting and looking for a peaceful place are all right in order so I wouldn't worry on that note. I could be wrong about the shaking but the earliest any of my girls have started the shaking part was at 60 days and then it turned out that I was off on the breeding date buy one day. If in fact that should turn out to be the case with your girl then sit back and watch because you are going to have puppies within a short time. Congradulations and let us know how mom does and what she has.

| ![]() 62 is the most common number for pups to be born, but, it's not uncommon for them to come 5 days early up to 5 days late |
