![]() I have a male yorkie who is 9 months old. I want to have him neutered, yet i want to breed him one time before he is neutered. My mom's dog died this year and she is in love with our yorkie. I would like to give her pick of the litter. He is apr registered. Anyone know how i would go about a one time breeding?

![]() Maybe your mother could buy one for herself . There are high cost raising a litter . Most breeders wont breed their females just for those reasons .

![]() Breeding a male, even one time, could result in a drastically different temperament in your little one. It's alot to risk for just a 'one time, for fun' deal. You would come out ahead, by buying your mother a dog instead. I would not breed him, or any dog, "just one time for fun."

![]() Best thing to do is to buy a pup. Breeders have their own males that they use. If you ever did use him for breeding , he could get the bad habit of marking all over the house too. There are good breeders on YT that I'm sure would be able to help you find that perfect pup.

| ![]() Nine months in too young to start him breeding. Best to get him fixed so that he remains your adorable pet. I'm sure your mom can find a great yorkie too.
