| not enough milk kaie had pups sat around 6 pm takeing them to vet today she don't seem to have alot of milk how long does it take for the milk to come down pups are not crying but has not gain any weight yet |

| Sometimes it takes a couple of days for the milk to come in good. Make sure the mom eats about 4 good meals a day and that, along with the pups suckling, should make the milk come in. You can give the mom Nutri-cal a couple times a day, plus you can add hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese to her diet if she likes that. How many puppies does she have and how big is the momma? |

| mom is 5 lbs she had 3 pups she been eating good cottage cheese twice a day and whelping pudding twice a day with puppy food all seems fine just worried they have not gain no weight yet getting ready to go to vet appointment at 12 30 to get them all checked and pups tail and declaws done I have never done this at 2 days old always done it at three days old but vet will be out of town |
