| Bill of Sale? I'm purchasing a puppy from a private party today. Is there a "Bill of Sale" form I should use? |

| Since this is a private party I'm thinking they won't have one. |

| Even if purchasing from a private party, you should have a contract/bill of sale that spells out exactly what you are getting, and responsible for. Is the dog neutered/spayed? Has it had health problems? How old is it? If you find out it has a serious genetic problem will the seller help with medical bills? You should know all this before you purchase the dog. |

| You should definitely draft some thing. Even if they do not have something available, you should protect yourself and create one.
