Well that's good enough for me and I appreciate that. I just forgot to ask her before we got off, what the next step would be - Brain fart I guess. If they all just come head first and don't get stuck I think I'll be fine. Cheer away! |
Good luck peaches! Am sending thoughts and prayers to u xxx xxx |
The reason I asked is because that area feels like it's swollen, not hard as she said, but maybe the stage right before they come down, :quizzi:IDK though. I'll just keep watching out. I'm going to try to get some liquids in her so I'll be back in awhile. And get me some coffee:coffee2: or a DP. If u go offline before I get back, I'll meet up with tomorrow and let you know how everything went/or is going as the case may be. Thanks for visiting with me and keeping me awake:snore:. I'll be sure to tell Peaches how much you cheered:cheer: for her!:hug60: |

You will see a bulge in the area she was talking about when the puppy starts to come down. |
Hi Georgia, I am at work just checking in.......wow, what a long night you've had! You're off line now, I hope that means you are busy birthing pups. It is okay and normal for pups to be born butt first, what you really want is for the pup to come out with its belly facing moms belly.....I think I said that right. I've only had one litter so far - 4 pups - I think two came head first and two butt first. Good luck to you and Peaches; prayers that everything goes smoothly. I'll try to peek back in a little later for an update. |
What's the latest. Puppies? |
Just checking in with you Georgia and Peaches. Hope you are both doing okay. There should be lots of breeders on now, so I'll be jumping in and out, checking on you. Let us know how you are doing. Best wishes. |
I'm popping in to see if any news......nothing:confused: Hope all is okay. I will check again later this afternoon. (((((Hugs))))) |
Awwwwwwwwww no puppies yet. Wow this has been a long wait for you. Hallie vomited so I'm guessing she will deliver some time today. I hope your's does also. good luck. |
Back from school and I come home to a cute pom with a hoodie on that says "Vicious" and you're gone!!! Come back and give us an update. :cheer::cheer:Go Peaches!!:cheer::cheer: Go puppies!:cheer::cheer: |
She hasn't updated in a while maybe she is busy delivering puppies. |
I hope so. |
It is showing that she is on so hopefully she will give an update soon. I hope all is well. |
Thanks for waiting everyone! Well it's a sad day and a happy day. I'll write more in a couple of hours but I wanted to let you know the main details. I ended taking her to the vet this morning and they did a C-Section on Peaches. She had 2 girls and 2 boys. One of the little girls passed away at the vet's office. I had two different staff members tell me that they worked on her for over an hour. She had a heartbeat but she never would take a breath. Her siblings decided they would call her Faith and she is at the Rainbow. Faith's siblings wanted to let you know that she has 2 brothers and 1 sister. Her sister is 3.0 ozs Her brothers are 2.9 ozs and 4.1 ozs I don't know what time they were born, but we picked them up at 5:45 this evening. I sent a message to Panama69 as she offered to resize my pics for me. So I will post them (or she will-I'm not sure). In the meantime, I have created an album with comments from Peaches and the little ones underneath the pictures. The little ones need names too so feel free to PM me or post on my profile what you think they should be. Please go by and see the pics and leave comments. They are missing their sister already and need a little support from other YTers. My husband Mike has been in there with Peaches and the babies since we got home. Peaches has not let them nurse since we got home, so we are supplement feeding this evening. We should give them Bene-Bac right? a couple of drops? Do we need to do anything else beside the supplemental feeding right now? If any of you have any ideas on the best way to help Peaches figure out the best way to nurse her little ones please let me know. Also, she seems scared of them. She is not friendly to outsider dogs and actually attacks them (jumps on their backs and bites at their necks). So we are scared since she is not in the box with the pups, she is sitting on pillows behind Mike, tending to her incision and resting and looking around him at the pups). We don't know since she attacks other dogs, if she will do this to them. Especially since she had a c-section, and this is her first litter, and she just woke up and they were there. Does she really know they are hers? Thanks for helping with advice to get her on the right track with her puppies. I'll post more later and let you know what all the vet said and how we ended up deciding to call the vet. Things are rushed right now. I have a laptop also in the whelping area so will be online through the night I'm sure. It may show me offline because it logs me off, but I log back in and continually check it for postings. Thanks a lot you guys, WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOU! |
