Although the review has become negative, this is the "Review Section" and this thread has been a review of the OP's breeder inquiry. And, I do believe if this breeder treated cats badly enough to be banned for life from CFA, then it's relevant to the topic.

I also know some that are showing risk the cats lives, because they want to produce show and they find out the cats tested Positive for PKD, so they feel if they put one negative PKD with a POS.they will have a 50% litter of Neg. PKD kittens. Horrible liver disease, however out of a show breeder mouth... "its to expensive to start back over, so what am I suppose to do".

Excuse me but no reason to attack the OP. She has been on YT a while now and had a bona fide inquiry. Yt is here for this very purpose. Anyone wanting info on a prospective breeder needs to be able to ask questions regarding their reputation. You can't blame the OP for the breeders bad rep she did that all on her own.

I did not bash the OP.........please read it over. I just said it was a set up, now if that is bashing okay I guess in a way I did. But read what everyone is now posting out of the blue about this one breeder. Does it not seem a little off to you? Everyone that has bashed is brand new. Maybe it just a weird thing that happened. Maybe not, who knows........So if the OP was offended I am truly sorry, and I was not really directing what I stated at her.

the only basher was nexxus providing information about the dovercastle lady.. it is a big deal i guess..an old feud...
a public forum is very valuable in finding the truth..
maybe she has reformed.. or maybe she is being falsely accused...
either way.. she has grounds for libel and is choosing to be silent.. its
a sad world... it probably was a set up.. a rich lady in the show dog world.... but it really is none of my business

Really? Animal abuse information is none of your business? Then why have the phrase in your signature that you have as it is none of anyone's business about pet stores, puppymills etc.

I'm not against exposing a bad breeder or animal cruelty -- I'm for it. But after the information had been given this turned into a cat fight. Literally.

seems there is ONE telling what the cat people know about this person who was a CAT PERSON, and was kicked out of all the cat clubs, for reasons given. http://www.cfainc.org/org/disciplinary-suspensions.pdf does confirm part of her posting.

As for cat people rude have you been to a dog show lately ? or horse show ? don't label a group of people
for those few. We are all animal lovers who have a preference, ours happens to be Yorkies, and in my case, any living animal with 4 legs and breath qualifies, lol.

And as I see it, that breeder, she said the dog was insane she never said it still is, ' did you see something I didn't?

I think that enough has been brought out here that dovercastle will be watched. If and when anything comes out, then we will know that the Cat people and the other breeders were justified in saying all this. If not it will die it's natural death, and her work will stand for itself.

Being in rescue, and being members of various groups, I will say this is not the first time I have heard murmerings about this person/kennel. All I can say is watch, and wait, and be careful in any dealings.

It may not affect those of you who are further away much, because you may not have dealings in Canada, but for the Canadians, it is a flag to be watched.

One more thing... if you hate reading this, just ignore it and move on. If something is no longer of interest to me or bores me, it's time to move on to something a heck of a lot more interesting.

Great post actually!!! This breeder is more than welcome to defend herself. She obviously knows about this post. I for one find it suspicious that mentions all those show accomplishments, but nothing about how much she loves her dogs, where they live or how healthy her bloodlines are. I take everything I read on the web with a grain of salt and anyone with common sense probably does too.

Puppymill people are very bright and that is how they are able to get away with most stuff that they do. EVIL is a bad word in my house.
I don't think she really came off as bragging about her accomplishments, I think that was the way she was trying to defend herself, by stating "if I do this how come my dogs are winning in shows". I would find it very hard to put a yorkie in a show coat and throw them in cage when ever they come back from showing.
Now here is the question to show breeders, do you still take the "reward" if you sold the dog to a show home, and is it true you are not the one rewarded unless you bred for three generation than you have the right to "brag"? This part I am really confused on.
