|  Hi everyone!!! i promise to get some pics up soon!! gidget started around 4 am diggine and panting and stuff...she slept most of the day at 9:20 i was trying to get the kids to bed and gidget turned around and started licking i moved her leg and boom there was a puppy!! and they just kept coming!!..she had 3 girls, then a boy 2 girls then a boy. she was done at 10:46pm everyone seems great and fat..weights are 3.4-5.2oz im going to the store to get her stuff i need to make a whelping pudding right?? i need some good receipes and what ever else you think she needs tell me!! thanks everyone!! |

| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member  | Wow, when it rains it pours.....I just came from another thread where someone is expecting 7 puppies also. But from how I read your announcement, sounds like you were surprised??? Congratulations on a quick successful whelp. Yes, whelping pudding is a must for mom to keep her calcium supply up and watch those pups to be sure they all get their fair share. I'd think you might want (or end up) supplementing them some just to be sure. Watch their weights for steadiness and/or gain. Can't wait to see pictures!

| hi yeah i thought she was having 5 again i got the whelping pudding mix, and cottage cheese and yogurt she is eating it all puppies are already gaining weight they eat non stop..ill get pics soon\ they have each gained about 4oz over night |
