| Maybe she will turn out to be a Golden Yorkie. They are rare however I think they are born all golden anyhow. Can you post a picture? |

| It could be that the yorkie has what we call running gold in the black or blue points of the saddle. That can be a common but a fault in the coat color. Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Lexie just turned 2 years old and I've noticed that she is also getting gold colored hair intermingling with some silver in the black on her back. You can't see that it is gold so much in this picture, 196.jpg but it definitely is. Of course we love her no matter what!

| I have six yorkies and none of them have this type of coloring I own her parents and one set of her grandparents the grandmother has a few gold hairs intermingled with her silver but that never happened until after she had her first litter.I just thought that was hormonal. But this is really different it's all over her saddle and the roots are gold and the rest is black l thought that she was going to stay dark like her mother. It just looks really different but of course she's still beautiful. I'll try to post a pic of her later. |
