Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | It could depend on the quality of the xray itself, how early one is done, and/or the position of the puppies. There is always the possiblity that one pup (or more) could be hidden behind another and not clearly visible on an xray. Your timing for an xray was right as it should be so I think you're okay there. Did you see the xray yourself? When I had my female xrayed it very clearly showed 4 puppies skulls and spines. When I posted them here, some thought there might be a fifth (though I couldn't see it).........and they were mistaken anyway. There were only the four that showed on the xray.

| A girlfriend of mine breeds english bulldogs. Her x-ray showed 4 she delivered 9....I think the x-ray failed for the puppy count. Good thing she was checking for size. |
