| Price on non registered Could I get some opinions here. I breed my Lola with a registered 3 1/2 pd boy, and my girl is 5 1/2 pds. At the time I did not think I would ever get papers on my Lola so I breed her without papers, and I just recieved my application in the mail for her. Anyway I would like to know what nonregistered puppies go for. I have placed them in the paper for 650. for the girls and have had people come and see them even call, but am I charging too much? I looked at a boy to by that did not have papers the lady wanted 800. for him without papers 1200. with she said that is what they are going for. My breeder sells them with and without papers and she sells them for 650. What does everyone think. I know not everyone cares if they are registered. Thank you, |

YT 1000 Club Member | Hi I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. Everyone charges differently, anywhere from $600. to $1500. for a Yorkie here in michigan. Some people charge different prices for males and females. Me personally. I leave it up to the buyer to decide whether they want to register their puppy. I don't charge for giving them papers. My only price difference would be on if I had a pup that was a good candidate for the ring and then I would have to decide whether the person that wanted to show was being honest and really intends to show. Anyway, I guess to get a better idea of why you should ask the breeders lots of questions, sometimes when you ask questions you can get an idea of the type of breeder they are.

| Welcome newbie. you have found the right place for all your answers here we love pics so that is the next order of business To your question in my opinion I would not pay more that 5oo for a non registered yorkie.I also live in michigan and there are some good breeders selling for 600 akc registered, with a year guarantee on life threatening defects and 6 mths for non life threatening problems. BUT: essentially it is up to you what to charge for your pups no one can tell you that.you can always negotiate if you really like to perspective new owners. good luck what ever you decide
