| My yorkie is pregnant and ready to pop! My yorkie has been pregnant since around 7/4/2008 and it really looks likes she may have her babies anytime now. This is the first time I've been through this. Does anyone have any tips on what to expect or what to do? |

You should really already done a lot of research on breeding for she got pregos. do you know her due date. dogs are normaly pregnant for 62-63 days heres a site that will help you get the date if you dont know. http://www.debbiejensen.com/whelp_supplies.html How big is she? how big was the male? have you had her checked with your vet? heres a good site on whelping & supplies you may need. It also has a lot of other information you may need. http://www.debbiejensen.com/whelp_supplies.html you can go here to read first stage of labor http://www.debbiejensen.com/whelp_supplies.html if you move this over to the breeding section you will get a lot more help from the breeders over there. Good Luck I hope your baby has an easy safe delievery. Last edited by YorkieShadow; 08-28-2008 at 10:52 PM.

But what is done is done. At this point, and her being due at any minute, I would by any means neccessary (barring gunpoint) find a vet or experienced breeder who will assist you during her whelp. I doubt that in as little amount of time as you claim she has left you will have time to adequately prepare yourself to handle any less than ideal scenarios that could arise.
